The Third Annual Alan Cox Show FootGolf Tournament returns to Mastic Woods Golf Course in Rocky River Sunday, July 16th from 2 to 5 PM. FootGolf is a combination of the popular sports soccer and golf.  The game is played with a regulation #5 soccer ball at a golf course facility on shortened holes with 21-inch diameter cups.  The rules largely correspond to the rules of golf.

You could win your way on to Team Alan, Team Erika, Team Bill, and Team Poundcake. Five winners will be selected to play alone with each team. Listen to the Alan Cox Show the week of June 19th for your chance to win your way onto Team Alan. The course is open for general play while the tournament is underway, so you can create your own team and play along with the show.  Call Mastic Woods Golf Course at 216-267-5626 and book a tee time over the phone, make sure you tell them you want to play between 2 and 5 PM along with the Alan Cox Show FootGolf Tournament.

FAQs

Q: What do I wear?
A: Indoor soccer shoes or turf shoes are recommended for FootGolf. NO CLEATS are permitted. FootGolf attire mimics golf attire, but it is only required for official AFGL tournaments and events.

Q: What should I bring?
A: A regulation #5 soccer ball is required for FootGolf. Players are encouraged to bring their own, easily identifiable ball, but may also rent one from the golf course.
