A squirrel is getting a big baseball honor: its own Topps Card.
The critter ran onto the field during a New York Yankees game against the Boston Red Sox on Friday and paused the game for a bit.
During the top of the fourth inning, while running around, it approached Yankees pitcher Max Fried on the mound.
The squirrel and Fried had a funny stare down and the pitcher later said "At one point, I think I just said, 'OK, buddy, let's go.’ He just did his thing. It's definitely a little strange, but it's all in good fun."
The Topps card, which reads "It's nuts! Furry friend takes mound at Yankee Stadium," sold out yesterday.
