In Japan, they’ve invented a glass that makes you drink slower.
Its shape sort of resembles an hourglass, but it's open at one end. When it’s filled with, let’s say, beer, the drinker hoists it into their mouth.
The top half will go right into their mouth, but the bottom half of the glass will slowly release the last half of the beverage through the smaller passage in the middle.
The idea is to take longer for someone to enjoy a drink, thereby preventing them from drinking as much.
