When flames broke out on a 48-foot yacht in the Hudson River just west of 72nd Street, the seven people on board were lucky to have a fellow boater come to their rescue.
The anonymous rescuer brought the people onto his boat and delivered them to an NYPD boat, which returned them to shore.
No one was injured in the incident, but soon after the seven passengers were off the boat, it started taking on water and sank completely.
