Indians Lose Opening Interleague Game To Mets At Citi Field

The Cleveland Indians dropped the first game of their Interleague series 9-2 to the New York Mets at Citi Field. 

With the game tied at two runs apiece, the Mets scored seven unanswered runs in the last three innings to put the Tribe away. 

Starter Shane Bieber went six innings and struck out seven but gave up four runs and took the loss. 

Cleveland and New York will hook up again tonight for game two with Adam Plutko taking on Marcus Stroman.
