A Pennsylvania teen couple isn’t letting a rare cancer stop them from getting married.
The story’s beautiful; Brady Hunker knew the second he laid eyes on Mollie Landman that she was the one. It was 7th grade and all Brady could talk about was her. They shared a deep Christian faith and were deeply connected.
Then Brady was diagnosed with the rare Ewing sarcoma in 2016. Mollie was by his side through it all. From treatments at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh to remission, to recurrence last year.
When it came back, the couple had serious talks about their future and decided to get married. They were engaged on Easter and because of his cancer, they are getting married this month.
Hunker created a GoFundMe account to pay for the nuptials and it far exceeded their expectations by bringing in 15-thousand dollars. Any left over money will be used to check off their bucket list of places to visit.
Is Hunker focused on his disease? Not even close. His only thoughts are of a future with his bride. "I can't wait to take this next step together."
