The National League beat the American League in the first ever Swing-Off in the All-Star Game. In the Swing-Off, Philly's Kyle Schwarber was named the All-Star Game MVP for clubbing three homers to lead the NL to a 4-3 advantage. Pete Alonso of the Mets hit a three-run home run during the game and Arizona's Ketel Marte and Corbin Carroll combined for three RBIs to give the NL a 6-0 lead through six innings.
