Guardians Split Rainy Doubleheader With Twins 5-6 - 5-1 - Tigers On Deck!!

The Minnesota Twins and Cleveland Guardians both picked up a win during a doubleheader at Target Field. Kody Clemens had a walk-off double for the Twins in a 6-5 win in game one. Cleveland scored three runs in the top of the ninth to tie the game before Clemens knocked in the game-winner. Gavin Williams tossed a gem in the second game, leading Cleveland to a 5-1 victory. Williams picked up his fourth win after allowing just two hits over six frames of one-run ball. Carlos Santana homered in the victory, while Chris Paddack was charged with the loss. The Twins are in second place in the AL Central at 27-and-22, while the Guardians are just a half-game back at 26-and-22.
