GOODYEAR, AZ - The Cleveland Guardians paired down their roster on Tuesday by optioning six players to Triple A-Columbus and reassigning a pitcher to minor league camp. The players optioned are right-handed pitcher Jason Bilous, infielder Brayan Rocchio, infielder Jose Tena, infielder Angel Martinez, infielder Juan Brito and infielder/outfielder Jhonkensy Noel. Right-handed pitcher Caleb Simpson was reassigned to minor league camp.
The Guardians roster is at 45 players. They open up the regular season two-weeks from Thursday in Seattle.
