New music on the way from Chester Bennington's first band, Grey Daze

Chester Bennington's former bandmates in his first band, Grey Daze, have re-recorded their old material with the help of the late Linkin Park frontman's friends and family. Among the guests appearing on the recordings are, Korn's Head and Munky, P.O.D.'s Marcos Curiel, Bush's Chris Traynor, as well as Ryan Shuck, Chester's bandmate in Dead By Sunrise, and, fittingly, Chester's 23-year-old son Jaime Bennington. The album will be released via 320 Changes Direction, the the mental health awareness organization launched by Chester's widow Talinda Bennington.

"Through our foundation, I endeavor every day making sure Chester's legacy shines a light for positive change. For us, releasing a new Grey Daze album will shine a light on where my husband started and hopefully give fans a better understanding of his art and a more full picture of his journey through this incredible music."

Chester Bennington died by suicide in July 2017, leaving behind Talinda and their six children, and silencing his band Linkin Park, who haven’t given any indication of continuing without him.

***THE IMPORTANT STUFF***

We're all responsible for looking after ourselves and each other. And we're all capable of being the voice that brings light into someone else's darkness. I've been there before, I'm still there sometimes, and it's almost always too much to handle alone. If you're suffering, or if someone you care about is hurting, there's ALWAYS help and hope to be shared.

One More Light.
