James Gunn already has the hype train for the Superman sequel "Man of Tomorrow" pulling out of the station.

In a post on his socials yesterday, Gunn featured a photo of the script for the upcoming film, and on the cover of the script was a cutaway of a human head, showing the brain.

While this may not mean much to casual observers, to DC fans, speculation is high that this means the villain Brainiac will be featured.

In the DC universe, Brainiac is considered an "extinction-level villain," with incredible intelligence and vast powers...and is an archenemy for Superman.

While Gunn has confirmed nothing at this point, the Internet's gonna Internet. We'll know for sure when "Man of Tomorrow" hits theaters July 9, 2027.
