Stranger Helps Save Teen Crushed By Boulder On Beach

The Borngrebe family was wrapping up their trip to Washington’s Kalaloch Beach before heading back to Nebraska when their 18-year-old son Ethan slipped off a broken boulder. A 150-pound chunk of the rock came down on the teen and with no cell service to call for help, his dad worried that his son might not survive.

Fortunately, a tourist from the Czech Republic, Jacob, appeared to help during the intense moment. He immediately took charge, telling them not to move Ethan, keeping the kids calm, and even pulling out some ice for Ethan’s injured hand. He was calm, confident, and kept everyone steady through the chaos.

When rescue crews finally showed up, Jacob stuck around to help get Ethan to the helicopter. Later, the family said they’ll never forget him, the stranger who stepped in and made a terrifying day just a little less scary.
