Woman Says Chat GPT Helped Her Pay Off $12,000 In Debt

Some good news from AI for once.

Realtor Jennifer Allan faced $23,000 in credit-card debt and challenged ChatGPT to give her one money-making task every day for 30 days. 

The AI suggested everything from selling unused gift cards to auditing old accounts, and even hawking a watermelon marked “$23,000” as “debt art,” a stunt that went viral on TikTok.

By tracking every penny and following the bot’s advice, Allan found $10,200 in a forgotten brokerage account, cashed out $100 on Venmo, and earned side-hustle income, wiping out $12,078 of her balance in a month.

Experts warn AI isn’t a full financial plan, but Allan says the daily prompts kept her focused until the debt was half gone.
