A tiny kitten was stuck on a high overpass in Las Vegas for almost three weeks. Drivers and neighbors kept seeing the kitten up there, but it was too high to reach. Some kind people left food nearby to keep the kitten alive while they tried to figure out how to help until an animal rescue group called Lizzie Fuchs.
Lizzie did what any daughter does when she needs help, she called her dad. Victor Fuchs is the President and CEO of Helix Electric, and Dad sent a boom lift and two nets to trap the kitten and lower it to safety. Troy McTeer, the Division Manager for Helix Electric, said he “just dropped everything else going on and went and got me a kitty.” The cat was checked out by a vet and found to be in good health, and now he has a new home and a new name…Helix, of course.
