West Detroit resident Shantaesha Young rescued a three-month-old baby from a house fire that broke out in her neighbor's home where a family of seven lived.
After hearing screams and seeing distressed children, Young acted quickly, catching the baby, dropped by the frantic mother from a second-floor window.
Young's quick thinking and bravery helped the family escape with only minor injuries, and she says she’s just glad to have been in the right place at the right time.
