Foo Fighters made history on Saturday as the first American act to perform on "SNL UK," appearing just one day after dropping their new album "Your Favorite Toy."
With guitarist Pat Smear back after recovering from a broken foot, the band gave live debuts to "Caught in the Echo," the album's opening track and first single, and "Child Actor," a more reflective piece about growing up in the spotlight.
The episode was hosted by "Bridgerton" star Nicola Coughlan, whose monologue featured a cameo from Jimmy Fallon and a fun bit where Fallon encouraged her to ask Dave Grohl to be her best friend.
"We're live," Fallon said. "He has to say yes."
