The Cavaliers are hoping one of their stars will be ready by the start of next season.

Darius Garland had surgery to repair a broken toe on Monday.

The team expects the two-time All-Star to make a "full" recovery by training camp.

However, ESPN reports Garland will likely miss the start of the regular season.

The 25-year-old averaged more than 20 points per game this year.
