Good Samaritan Calls Cops To Save Girl Locked In Hot Car In Maryland

A tip from a good Samaritan led Hyattsville, Maryland, Police to rescue a five-year-old child who’d been locked in a hot car parked for several hours.

The child's mother, who was visiting a friend nearby, has been arrested and faces multiple charges, and the child has been placed with relatives.

The Hyattsville Police Department took to social media to praise the Good Samaritan and remind the public of the dangers of leaving a young child unattended, especially when there’s a heat advisory.
