Nebraska Murder Suspect Slashes His Own Throat In Court

Aubrey Trail, 52

A Nebraska man who is accused of killing a young woman he met on Tinder attempted to cut his own throat in the middle of his murder trial. 52-year-old Aubrey Trail tried to exonerate his alleged accomplice, Bailey Boswell, as he swiped what was possibly a razor blade across his throat.

"Bailey is innocent, and I curse you all," Trail screamed after a witness was sworn in.

Trail fell out of his wheelchair and was taken to the hospital. He was given a few stitches and released.

Judge Vicky Johnson ordered that Trail must be handcuffed for the remainder of his murder trial. The trial was adjourned for the day and is expected to resume on Tuesday (June 25) morning.

Judge Johnson instructed the jury to disregard what happened in the courtroom.

"It's asking a lot of you, but disregard anything you hear or see," Johnson said. "Don't listen to or engage with anybody talking about the case."
