Lynyrd Skynyrd to end where it all began.

On September 2nd, Lynyrd Skynyrd will call it a career when they play the final show of their Last Of The Street Survivors Tour at EverBank Field in Jacksonville, FL and they’ll be joined by some "special guests" at the hometown show.

Singer Johnny Van Zant says, "This is a dream come true for the Lynyrd Skynyrd band. "We're going to rock the house here. My brother, Gary Rossington and Alan Collins started this band a long time ago. We are on our farewell tour. It's time to wrap it up.”

Guitarist and sole original founding member Gary Rossington added, “We are very excited to have our friends Jason Aldean and Kid Rock join us in our hometown of Jacksonville.  Playing where the band got its start all those years ago is always special but having these guys with us makes it even sweeter.

Lynyrd Skynyrd has sold 28 million records in the US, and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006
