Remembering Chester Bennington/Mushroomhead vocalist exits

This March 20th would be Chester Bennington’s 42nd birthday, and the late Linkin Park frontman’s widow has a request for fans who wish to honor Chester on Twitter.  Talinda Bennington said, "To honor Chester Bennington's birthday, I'm asking you to Change Direction. On March 20th, post a pic holding up your hand, which symbolizes you know the 5 signs of emotional well-being. Write 'I AM THE CHANGE' on your hand. Bcuz the change begins within ourselves to change the culture in America about mental health, mental illness, and wellness."

Bennington passed away on July 20 of last year, from suicide by hanging.

MUSHROOMHEAD co-vocalist Jeffrey Nothing has announced decision to leave the band he cofounded here in Cleveland back in 1993.

His statement said, "I am coming to you today with a heavy heart to announce that I am leaving MUSHROOMHEAD. It is a decision that I did not make easily, but one I made for reasons that are best for me as an artist and musician at this juncture in my career."

The singer is not making any further comment at this time. He is asking MUSHROOMHEAD's devoted fans to remain loyal to the band, and calls his time with the band, “a once in a lifetime privilege”
