VOLBEAT frontman Michael Poulsen says that he and his bandmates have been working on material for a new album since they finished their stadium tour with METALLICA last summer.
Poulsen says: "We are in the middle of the writing process. We have a lot of songs — We've written a lot of songs, we keep on writing. And when we're done touring this year, we go home to Denmark, we all get together and finish up all the ideas and the songs that we are working on. And the whole plan is to enter the studio late November, and there's a gonna be a VOLBEAT record out next year. So it's gonna be great to kind of lock ourselves into the rehearsal room and finish up the work. We're already working on stuff at soundchecks. It's gonna be great."
VOLBEAT's last album, "Seal The Deal & Let’s Boogie", was released in June 2016
