Indians Take Game Three In The 2020 Battle For Ohio

The Cleveland Indians shutout the Cincinnati Reds 2-0 at Progressive Field and will retain the Ohio Cup for another year.

The Indians are defending the Ohio Cup in the four-game series, which can now only end in a tie, ensuring the trophy stays with the Tribe for another season.

Reds outfielder Nick Castellanos extended his hitting streak to 12 games, and Cleveland starter Mike Clevinger worked five strong innings to get the win with Brad Hand pitching the ninth for his fourth save.

The teams will meet again tonight at 6:10 p.m. for the last game of the 2020 Battle of Ohio.
