The Cavaliers got off to a strong start before a second-half San Antonio rally forced overtime on the way to a 117-109 Cleveland road win.
Cleveland took a ten-point lead into halftime, but the Spurs were able to make up the difference in the fourth quarter before fading in the extra period.
Kevin Love led the Cavs offense with 30-points and 17 rebounds while Collin Sexton scored 28, and Jordan Clarkson added in 25.
The Cavaliers will now travel to Milwaukee on Saturday to face a Bucks team who have only lost three games this year.
