Cleveland Indians rookie pitcher Zach Plesac pitched a complete game shutout as the Tribe downed the Angels 8-0 in Anaheim.
Plesac allowed four hits over nine innings and struck out five to earn his eighth win of the year.
Franmil Reyes drove in four runs while Jordan Luplow and Francisco Lindor homered to lead the Indians offense.
Cleveland will go for a series sweep over the Angels when the teams meet again tonight with first pitch scheduled for 8:07 p.m.
