“Jackass” star Bam Margera concerned fans and loved ones with what seemed like a public meltdown last month. At the time, he called out to Dr. Phil for help via multiple posts to social media, and eventually revealed his calls were answered. On Monday night, his “Dr. Phil” episode aired.
While Margera didn’t admit to his mom April’s claims that he’s been using meth, he did open up about his cocaine use in his 20s, and said he takes Adderall every day. When it comes to alcoholism, Margera insisted that it’s more manageable nowadays. So what’s his problem? Apparently, his wife Nikki,who he called out plenty of times with curse-laden posts online… but Dr. Phil wasn’t buying it, he called Margera’s behavior towards Nikki “abusive.”
In the end, all Margera wants is to maintain a relationship with his son Phoenix Wolf, who he called “the raddest kid” and his “best friend.” Hopefully, he’ll get more time with his son soon, since Dr. Phil reports that Margera is back in rehab and “making great strides” in his recovery.
