Weezer’s Cochella set this past Saturday was marked by guest appearances by some of the artists they’ve covered.
When the band played “No Scrubs”, they were joined by Chilli from TLC who said of their cover version of their hit, “When I heard it, I loved it! They did a great job.”
Tears for Fears also appeared as surprise guests during Weezer’s set to help out on their song “Everybody Wants to Rule the World.” Both that song and “No Scrubs” appear on Weezer’s recent covers LP The Teal Album, that was a digital only release until Saturday, when the vinyl pressing was released as a Record Store Day special.
