During a family’s recent trip to Disneyland, a cast member dressed as Woody from “Toy Story” communicated with a deaf child using American Sign Language (ASL). The child’s mother, Jessika Moore, says it was their first visit as a family and describes feeling overwhelmed before meeting the character during a meet-and-greet. She says Woody noticed her daughter, Aureliana, was deaf and asked for her name in ASL.

Moore recorded the interaction and shared the video on social media, where it went viral, racking up over a million views. She says she quickly grabbed her phone to capture the moment, adding that the touching interaction made her daughter’s day.

In a follow-up post, the mom shares her reaction to the response the video has received. She writes that she reached over a thousand followers and thanks viewers for their support on her Disneyland post.
