Disgraced movie producer Harvey Weinstein was taken to the hospital on Monday after he was convicted on one count of committing a criminal sexual act and one count of rape, multiple outlets reported on Monday.

Weinstein was taken to Bellevue Hospital and placed under observation for high blood pressure and heart palpitations, NBC News reports, citing a statement from Weinstein's lawyer, Donna Torunno. It's unclear whether officials decided to hold him overnight, or transfer Weinstein to the infirmary at Riker's island.

Weinstein, 67, was convicted on Monday of third degree rap of Jessica Mann, a former aspiring actress. He was also convicted on a count of criminal sexual act in the first degree by Mimi Haley, a former production assistant on Project Runway. Weinstein was immediately remanded into custody by the city's Department of Corrections.

The disgraced former movie mogul faces a maximum of 25 years behind bars. He's scheduled to be sentenced on March 11.

While the trial in New York has come to an end, Weinstein's legal troubles are not over yet. Weinstein also faces charges of rape, oral copulation, and sexual penetration by force, as well as one count of sexual battery by restraint. He faces up to 28 years in prison if convicted on all counts in Los Angeles.

Los Angeles District Attorney Jackie Lacey declined to comment on Weinstein's conviction in New York.

The former movie mogul has denied the claims against him, saying that all the sex was consensual. In all, more than 80 women have accused Weinstein of sexual assault.
