The Cavs ended their 5 game home stand on Tuesday night by losing to the New Orleans Pelicans 100-89. The loss gave the Cavs a 1-4 record on the home stand that was suppose to be a part of the schedule the Cavs would use to start a playoff push.

The Pelicans went on a 16-0 run to end the first half and the Cavs never recovered. The Cavs shot 41% from the field while allowing the Pelicans to shoot 52%. Anthony Davis led all scorers with 30 points and added 8 blocks for New Orleans. Cavs rookie Anthony Bennett scored a career high 15 points and tied a career high with 8 rebounds. Kyrie Irving led the Cavs with 23 points. The Cavs will be at New York on Thursday to take on the Knicks.
