Stradlin explains absence from GNR reunion tour

Original Guns N' Roses guitarist Izzy Stradlin has addressed the reason why he did not take part in the band's blockbuster Not In This Lifetime reunion tour featuring.

Stradlin released a statement to the Wall Street Journal (ROCK AND ROLL!!!) where he explained, "The current GN'R tour has been a great success for the guys. My nonparticipation was simply not being able to reach a happy middle ground through the negotiation process. That's life. Sometimes things don't work out."

That’s true enough, but it’s working out fairly well for the rest of the band, featuring original members Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan. So far GNR’s tour has become the 4th highest selling tour in history, grossing an earth shattering $475 million since its launch in 2016, and they’re not done printing money yet…they have another leg that kicks off overseas next month.

Rumor has it Stradlin was only offered a paltry “five-figure sum of money” to participate.
