(Cleveland) - The Cleveland Metroparks Rangers K9 unit has it's newest member.  He is a six week old puppy named Rico who starts training Thursday as the newest member of the department.  

Rico will be handled by Ranger Mike Barr.  Rico was unveiled to hundreds of students Monday morning at Cleveland's Euclid Park Elementary School.  

The Metroparks Rangers K9 unit was created in 2002 with the swearing-in of officer Radar who has since retired.  There are five dogs who are part of the Metroparks K9 unit.
