(Cleveland) - Cuyahoga County Council members, Tuesday, unanimously approved the allocation of 2.5 million dollars in the effort to land the Democratic or Republican National Conventions in 2016.

A group of city, county, business and civic leaders have launched a bid to bring one of the events to the Northcoast.  The city's bid has already been sent off to Washington D.C. for consideration by both parties.
