(CLEVELAND) – Tuesday night’s game between the Cleveland Indians and Chicago White Sox at U.S. Cellular Field has been postponed due to inclement weather. No makeup date was immediately announced.
The Tribe was looking to run their winning streak to four games; that would match last year’s season-high.
The White Sox and Indians will conclude their series Wednesday afternoon in Chicago. First pitch is slated for 2:10 pm ET. Both clubs announced they will keep the same pitching matchup from Tuesday’s scheduled contest. The Tribe will toss right-hander Zach McAllister while the White Sox send out lefty Jose Quintana.
This is the third game of the 2013 season that has been postponed for the Indians. On May 13 they will make up two rainouts with the New York Yankees in a traditional double-header at Progressive Field.
The Indians are 8-10 on the season. The White Sox still sit last in the AL-Central Division with a record of 7-11.
