Tom Morello will be payng tribute to someone he calls a "war hero turned peace hero" next month.

The Rage Against the Machine guitarist is set to headline the musical portion of "A Tribute to Tomas Young," an event celebrating the life of the Iraq war vet who was paralyzed from the chest down less than one week after he was deployed back in 2004.

Young has since become an anti-war activist, and he recently announced plans to end his life in May by removing the feeding tube that's been keeping him alive since November.

Morello says Young is an "inspiration," adding that his voice "thunders louder for peace and justice" than one-thousand exploding drones.  "A Tribute to Tomas Young" is scheduled to take place May 19th in Young's hometown of Kansas City, Missouri.
