Ex-Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo says he's disgusted with the thrash metal band.
Lombardo was fired from the group early last year, and he tells "Planet Mosh" that he's still upset about the way his departure was handled. He says that where he and his former bandmates stand now "disgusts" him, adding that this isn't what he or late guitarist Jeff Hanneman wanted.
Still, Lombardo attended a memorial for Hanneman, which he admitted was uncomfortable. He says he was also shocked that Slayer singer and bassist Tom Araya didn't show up at all, and that guitarist Kerry King told what he called "self-centered stories" that did nothing to show what kind of human being Hanneman was. Hanneman died of liver failure in May 2013.
